Google now has a mobile friendly site testing tool
If you can’t contain your excitement then I understand, just go to the tool and give it a try.
Here’s why it’s important. This tool will tell you if Google considers your web site mobile friendly. If it doesn’t then there’s a strong chance users searching on a mobile device for your business won’t find you. Give it a try.
If you site hasn’t been built in the last 12-18 months or so it’s likely it’s not to be mobile friendly.
So what can you do about this? It’s unlikely you’ll want to rebuild your site so there are 2 options:
- If you web site is on an open source CMS like WordPress, Joomla or Drupal, then it may be possible to convert the site to be mobile friendly.
- If this isn’t possible or is too expensive, then we can create your a separate mobile friendly site for £200 that will give a great user experience until your web site is redeveloped.
